Carolyn spent her lifetime helping others and was known as an action-oriented individual with a clear focus on results. Her generous sharing of insights in “What You Can Do…When You Can’t” is the compilation of many decades of real-life experiences. Her personal walk through life was filled with valuable life lessons that she bought forward. Through her work with others, she also integrated their experiences and true-life results into actionable steps that are applicable and that can be immediately implemented. She served as a bright light of encouragement and a positive force, driving the reader to set big goals, forge a way to achieve them, and move forward toward success.

Carolyn had faith in people’s ability to learn and develop new ways to perceive their world, and in their ability to grow and go forward in a more positive fashion. Her belief was that life is always in motion and that we all need to stay alert to our personal space and environment and see the opportunities for improvement. She believed in setting goals that are of continuing service, because together is better. She inspired others to realize that it is up to us to take action and to focus forward to build a better future for ourselves and others.

She believed that when we take three steps forward and one step backward, we cannot be discouraged, as we remain in motion and that the net result is a positive gain.  This is how we make our world a better place.  Always focused on the solution, Carloyn's unique ability to find the “I can” in the “I can’t” allowed many to accomplish things that otherwise would have remained a dream.
